Hedda Gabler
Hollywood Fringe Festival June 2023
It’s Hedda like you’ve never seen her…
Hedda is trapped in a new home with a new husband. She spends her time manipulating those around her and denying her pregnancy. But when old acquaintances come knocking on the Tesman’s door, the next two days are spent unraveling the past, evading the future, and firing General Gabler’s infamous pistols.
Hedda Gabler examines gender roles and social constructs, and it shows us what may have happened had Nora never left home at the end of A Doll's House. Through Patrick Marber's fresh adaptation, magical realism and a few well placed balloons, we strive to show how relevant this 132 year old play really is.

I DECIDED I’M FINE: A ROACH PLAY
When does clutter become a problem, and whose problem does it become?
I Decided I’m Fine: A Roach Play considers hoarding, an American phenomenon which is often stigmatized but rarely discussed. After the sudden death of the their infant child, Ellen and Stephen find themselves faced with the difficult task of moving on from the objects that remind them of the incident. For Ellen, this proves to be too overwhelming of a task, leading to years of compulsive accumulation. Juxtaposed with the play’s realism is a second layer of the play which utilizes clowning, comedy, and a cockroach musical to steer the audience through the many different ways hoarding is perceived and portrayed in society.

WHAT HAPPENED TO WHERE I'VE BEEN
Why do we go digging for proof of who we are?
What Happened to Where I've Been, an experimental serio-comedy, explores nostalgia and personal archives through the lens of home videos. Collaboratively devised by The Attic Collective, the piece considers the dissonance between recollection and video footage, and how documenting and revisiting our past informs how we choose to live now.
What Happened to Where I've Been premiered at Son of Semele Theater in January 2017 as part of Son of Semele's Company Creation Festival. It played to sold out audiences and received an extension following it's run in the festival.

DEAD DOG'S BONE: A BIRTHDAY PLAY
Dead Dog’s Bone: A Birthday Play is a one-act tragicomedy about the awkwardness of birthdays, letting go of things you love, and the horror of plastic Christmas trees.
Juniper, a pensive twenty-something, struggles with an inherited inability to commit—a quality passed on to her from Iris, her free-spirited but absent mother. Juniper and her good-hearted fisherman father, Atlas, and love-stricken corduroy-wearing boyfriend, Timothy, must come to terms with the fate of the family dog which, as the title implies, is less than promising. The play transcends time and space, weaving in and out of the present, guided by a boisterous, omnipotent, cut-the-shit reimagining of the Virgin Mary. Upbeat and clever, touching and silly, “Dead Dog’s Bone” asks questions about growing up, the quest for happiness, and how not to lose sight of silliness in life’s most trying moments.
